SPECIAL SECOND COLLECTION - NOVEMBER 8/9

Collection for Hurricane Melissa Victims

With the devastating effects of Hurricane Melissa just now coming to light, there is a dire need for food, clothing, housing and the basic essentials of life for thousands of people. We are holding a second collection this weekend to support the relief efforts underway in areas that were impacted by this historic storm. Funds will be distributed by Catholic Relief Services.

We are asking the people of the Belleville Diocese to offer your prayers and make a donation – in any amount – to assist in these efforts. Your gift also may be made next weekend or can be sent directly to the Diocese of Belleville, 222 South Third Street, Belleville, Illinois 62220.

Please indicate “Hurricane Relief” on the memo line of your check. Thank you so much for your generosity; may God bless our suffering brothers and sisters in the Caribbean.
